Yes, a Flicks in the Sticks event (we are showing ‘Cadillac Records’) in conjunction with the incredible Eddy Gartry and ‘Blues State UK’. It will be one amazing night !
We plan to have the doors open from 7pm, with the film starting at 7.30pm. There will not be any interval during the screening. Following the film, Eddy Gartry and Blues State UK , from around 9.30pm ‘ish, will be giving us a gig, for the love of The Blues! It will be one amazing night!
Single entrance fee of just £5.00 per person. That’s right, just £5.00 !!
Eddy Gartry says “The rumours are true! -The Sarn Movie Club [near Newtown in Mid Wales] will be screening the blues movie ‘Cadillac Records’-all about the Blues and early R&B with music from Howling Wolf- Muddy Waters -Little Walter -Chuck Berry -Etta James to name a few. And! -When the movie finishes, cult bluesband- ‘Blues State UK’ will be making a live appearance in the venue. Friday JUNE 3rd 2016. Yes, there’s a bar in there too!
